NIALL'S DAD ALSO COMES TO VISIT

Niall's dad came to spend 2 weeks with us at the end of January 2007. A busy time was had by all.

MOM AND MOIRA JOIN US FOR XMAS

Niall's mom and Sister spent Christmas and New Year with us. It was great, we had
our traditional turkey and even a gammon for lunch. Christmas crackers and a
christmas pudding! Also got to do all the sights and the shops.

AND THEN WE HAD FLOODS

Yup floods in the desert. It rained non stop for 24 hours and we were flooded.
Not once but twice. Highest rainfall on record, 113 mm. The average rainfall
for December was 13mm.

LESLEY CAME TO VISIT

Lesley was our first visitor in Bahrain. Joined us for 3 days after her Contiki tour
through Europe. Tsotsi Bug and I showed her all the sights and didn't even get
lost.

TRAVELS IN 2006

OMAN
We spent a weekend in Muscat. Stayed at the Crown Plaza. Visited the Royal Palace,
the souq, went on a boat ride and walked through the old town. Spent sunset on the
beach and watched the fishing boats.








SWITZERLAND
LUCERN
Niall spent 3 weeks in Switzerland on business, I went over and joined him for one of
the weeks. Went and visited Lucern, Bern and Jung Frau, got to play in the snow and
also visited the Ice palace.
